Is this what they call addiction?
With Mister Chifff out of town this week and the flu that keeps me home from work, my addiction shines like never before. And yes, I have a couple of them, but this one requires: a. no one at home, b. nothing to do and c. enough empty disks…
Don’t come up with nasty ideas now, it’s really innocent. If I say The Hills, you’ll say The City. If I say Grey’s Anatomy, you’ll say Private Practice. And don’t forget about Gossip Girl, Friday Night Lights and The Good Wife… Yes, I’m slightly addicted to this magnificent series and proud to be.
With the knowledge that I haven’t even mentioned Keeping up with the Kardashians, Run’s House and Taking the Stage, you’ll notice: it’s getting a bit out of control. But I can ensure you, I do leave the house to have fun with friends & family, I do have a day job and I do go on holiday. Because I’m way too busy to keep up with the newest episodes of all my ‘baby’s’, I often have to neglect them. But I never panic. It’s just a matter of waiting till the right moment (like being down with the flu for some days or being snowed in); then it’s time for the addiction to come out!
With that being said; I’m almost up to speed with Gossip Girl. If you’ll excuse me now, gonna watch the latest episode! XOXO
PS My dear friend L. (who also joins the Series Anonymous meetings) just pointed out a new interesting show, called Life Unexpected… See the trailer below.

I recognize the series addiction, but it takes a different form in my case: Dexter, House, Battlestar Galactica Etc.
Although, when no ones watching I sometimes watch an episode of ANTM
But that’s why I’m a nerd and you are not
